Parkwood Elementary School was excited to partner with the United Way of Onslow County in the Fall of 2015 to begin the CHEW program at our school. CHEW is a weekend back pack program that sends nutritious food home with students in need over the weekend to ensure they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner to eat throughout the weekend. We are excited with the response the CHEW program has gotten by our school and community so far. This program requires on going support and effort of our school and community to maintain it. Below is a list of items we need on going. If you are able to make a donation of any of these items, you may drop them off in our school office. If you know of any business or organization that may be willing to do a food drive or sponsor our CHEW program please share this list with them! Individuals or businesses may also make direct monetary donations to the United Way of Onslow county and specify their donation be allocated to go towards Parkwood Elementary School CHEW program.
On behalf of the students and families participating I thank you for your support!
